Abstract

AbstractFrom a general equation given by Onsager [1], equations were derived describing the transport of mass and electric current in binary electrolyte solutions of any concentration. Classical transport equations appear as a limiting case of the more general theory. The use of three different coordinate systems is shown and discussed.
