A series of ε-iron oxides are reported to show the ferromagnetism with a single magnetic domain when the particle size is above 10 nm.(9-14)Because the particle sizes of the present materials are above 20 nm, nanoparticle size effect (e.g., superparamagnetism) does not contribute to the observed magnetic properties. Hence we used MF theory for the present calculation.
