Selective and stable iso-butene production over highly dispersed VOx species on SiO 2 supports via combining oxidative and non-oxidative iso-butane dehydrogenation

Abstract
Iso-butane conversion to iso-butene under oxygen-lean conditions has been found as an efficient approach for alkane functionalisation; iso-butene selectivity above 80% at about 50% iso-butane conversion was achieved over highly-dispersed VO

x

species on SiO
2
supports at 833 K.
