Addressing the unseen strain: mental load in atopic dermatitis – a nationwide French study

View at Publisher Save 10.1093/ced/llaf497
Abstract
This nationwide French study investigates the mental load experienced by patients with atopic dermatitis, an often-overlooked aspect of the disease’s impact. Using validated tools, the study found that individuals with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis face significantly higher psychological strain, highlighting the need for more comprehensive patient support beyond physical symptom management.
