Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology in addressing global environmental challenges, particularly water conservation. This article explores how IoT-enabled systems are revolutionizing water monitoring and usage optimization across various sectors, from agriculture to urban infrastructure. Through smart sensors, real-time analytics, and automated control systems, IoT empowers users and policymakers to detect leakages, monitor consumption, and implement efficient water distribution mechanisms. This paper synthesizes findings from diverse regions to highlight successful applications and discuss technical, policy, and societal challenges impeding widespread adoption.
