AUTONOMOUS DRONE TECHNOLOGY: CURRENT TRENDS AND FUTURE DIRECTIONS

Abstract
Autonomous drones are rapidly transforming industries by enabling innovative solutions for tasks ranging from surveillance to delivery. This paper explores the current state of autonomous drone technology, highlighting the key advancements in areas such as navigation, control systems, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and sensor technology. The paper examines the applications of autonomous drones in various sectors, including agriculture, logistics, defense, and environmental monitoring.
